RUTH Limited Edition Special Label 2018
Domaine Vintur AOC Ventoux France
The RUTH Limited Edition Special Label 2018 commemorates Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s storied legacy in the United States and France.
Provencal Collective is honored to partner with the film RUTH: Justice Ginsburg In Her Own Words by Academy Award winning director Freida Lee Mock to pay tribute to Ginsburg. Her desire to include French phrases in her landmark opinions, as well as her famous parasailing adventure in the south of France with fellow late Justice Antonin Scalia, endeared her there. Justice Ginsburg’s inspirational lifetime achievements prompted French President Emmanuel Macron to acknowledge her “fight for justice, gender equality and the respect for human rights.”
To this end, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Justice Ginsburg’s most favored charities including scholarships and grants for underprivileged youth.
ABOUT DOMAINE VINTUR
Domaine Vintur is an independent organic wine producer located in Carpentras, about 30 minutes from Avignon in Provence. Praised by the world’s top wine critics, Domaine Vintur won the Gold Medal at the 2020 World Organic Wine Fair (out of 1,300 exhibitors) and was called a “domaine to keep an eye on” by Robert Parker Wine Advocate.
This organic wine is made exclusively from hand-picked Roussanne grapes grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides. It contains no added sulfites which makes for fewer headaches. Characteristic of Roussanne, the wine exhibits a deep gold color that is clean and transparent in the glass. On the palate, the wine shows Roussanne’s classic, mild honey character with floral hints. The nose is very complex, both rich and delicate. Its measured acidity and minerality make for an extremely well-balanced wine.
HOW TO ENJOY
THE RUTH Limited Edition Special Label 2018 is perfect to drink on its own as an aperitif, paired with cheese, or as a complement to your favorite pork or chicken dishes – particularly ham. No matter what you choose to pair with this outstanding organic Roussanne, one should let breathe for at least 30 minutes and serve at 55 degrees to allow this special cuvée to reach its apogee. Cheers!
